Received from Sara in Canada, July 2012.
I have received the most pretty items from Sara, who is living in the Newfoundland. This is a place I have been dreaming about visiting,
as I have been imagine how it would be living there. Perhaps one day!
I really like the little white dishcloth with the pretty texture. Sara's nan have been knitted it. I'm going to use it at my studio, just like
she does in her home. Both her aunt and sister knits them too.
I'm in love with feathers and this one is so beautiful. She writes me it's from a handmade owl.
I'm totally in love with these small tiny brown envelopes. They are from a vintage book on how to draw birds.
The whole letter from Sara.
The bit of torn wallpaper is from the basement. Sara wanted me to have a little piece of her home, as she used to sit in the basement making craft when she was younger.
Dear Sara, thank you so much for your beautiful letter. I so much love the feather.

I remember this technique from my schooldays and when I have been in Peru, the young men are making the most wonderfuls bracelets. I want to try again.
A bookmark, knitted.
A little ponch. I have put my magnifying glass in it, which I have with me everywhere.
Helen have used her typewriter to write her letter to me. It makes holes, but she loves them, just like me.
