I have got the most stunning and beautiful letter from Julia, full of nature treasuries. Her letter makes me so happy. The blog The Sheer Stories makes me longing for making lovely DIY projects or walking in the grass an early morning.

Polypodium vulgare.

On an old postcard with polish children in the higher polish mountains called Tatry, some of the pressed flowers was sticked to the back. I love these flowers which you will see many of in the Spring.

An amazing little flower put inside a handmade piece of paper. And a leaf with a pretty skeleton of threads.

FROM LOTTE.

I have been patience for a long time and finally my letter from Lotte have arrived, and I'm so happy. The waiting time was so worth it.

Lotte is an amazing young woman. She is right now attending bobbinlace classes, hoping one day to become a teacher in this amazing technique. Her wonderful blog Belle Fleur de Lis is so fragile and pretty. Lotte  combine her love for flowers, crochet and lace in this blog with the most stunning photos. I so much love it.

When opening the letter from Lotte, it took my breath away. She has made this, oh so beautiful package full of treasuries. I feel so special.

Lotte have made this doily which were going to be part of her Crochet Treasuries. The yarns she has used is a little crispy to the touch, and it gives a nice tactilily.

An old doily she has thrifted from a second hand shop in Antwerp, her favorite city.

Beautiful pressed flowers. The red Astrantia Major to the left is one of my favorites. In Denmark it's called Stjerneskærm. I so much like this name as Stjerne is a Star.

This doily is not so big. It is made of a combination of a glimmer /glitter yarn together with the light pink. So pretty.

Sara from The Weight Of Dreams have send me this beautiful letter. There were so many treasuries in it, so I have sellected a few.
Sara is a teacher and she is right now reading the book: Daughter of the Forest by Jliet Marillier, which is one of favorites.

FROM ZENOBIE.

Received from Zenobie in England, June 2012.

Zenobie lives in London and likes to make things out of yarn, walk, bake bread and listen to folk music. She is half Greek and this is where her beautiful name comes from. She has studied history at the University, but her passion is to work with plants. She has a beautiful blog called Queen of Carrot Flowers. I love the name.
Zenobie loves the process of hand making and started knitting when 15, but her biggest passion is crochet, especially the freestyle crochet. She feels it's like painting with yarns. I believe her description is beautiful.

My letter from Zenobie. I don't know how to describe the feeling I had when opening it. I feel so lucky.

I did not knew that feathers were something that Zenobie treasure a lot and I send her one.
She send me in return a freestyle crochet feather made in cotton and embroidery thread. It's inspired by the technique used by a Japanese artist called Jung Jung who makes crochet vegetables.
I'm so much in love with it and have already start wearing it. The details is magnificent.

Like me Zenobie likes fleamarkets and these doilies have she found on her favorite market in London.

Your freestyle feather crochet is excuisite and I have it at my home, so I can put it on my clothes, so it can brighten up an ordinary day.

I'm totally in love with Lisa's work and she write on her flickr this: "i make stuff. all kinds of stuff". I simple love these words.
Lisa lives in Oakland with her husband and there 3 year old daughter, together with two cats and dogs. She has her own studio where she work as a mixed media artist and makes graphic design projects. She has several blogs and I'm so impressed by her creativity and work. I have just right now found out that Lisa have made a book and it can be ordered through amazon and can also be seen here. It looks fantastic!

Detail of Lisa's card. I love the details with the stars and - - - - -. If you have a look at Lisa webpage, there is a "red thread" in all.

A color chart for Gutermann 2011. This card is really special. I like the rainbow colors together with the drawings of the sewingthread.

The card which Lisa send to me. This kind of work can be seen on her flickr and this is the reason why I invited her into my textile letters, as I were hoping she would send me something like this.
To the right a screen print test from her. This pattern with the lines interacting into each other is an amazing piece of textile.

A feltet tank in light pink from an art installation she has made and a vintage crochet swap.

The whole letter were wrapped into this screen printed piece of fabric from her stash. The burnt orange color is so pretty. And a little vintage doily.
